Art After School: Clay Exclusive! (Winter Session 2)

In this 5-week course, elementary aged students will plan, design, and create several sculptures both decorative and functional in clay! Students will learn a variety of hand-building methods in clay as well as finishing methods including paint, glaze, and collage.

About the event
This class will exclusively feature clay and ceramic projects. Students will learn a variety of hand-building and finishing methods. Projects will be fired and decorated. Students will learn historic and cultural connections as well as build positive studio habits and social emotional learning as they create in community with peers. Be sure to pack a snack and dress for mess. Parent pick-up required.
